EUR 6 million for regional startups – Bulgarian accelerator Eleven opens new round of support to beginners in business

A regional startup financing fund, the Bulgarian accelerator Eleven, has opened a new round of support to regional startups, for which it has set aside EUR 6,000,000.

As the accelerator announces on its official website at www.11.me, through which applications for funds can be made, a new round of support for innovations and technology in the SEE region, Eleven 2.0 – the Founders Fund, is to begin.


The Bulgarian accelerator Eleven is known in Serbia for having financed 13 startups from the country, mostly supporting those developing hardware products.

The company is currently looking for local entrepreneurs intending to enter other markets.

Within this cycle, expert and financial support is offered to entrepreneurs, and this time, it is a private fund worth 6 million euros created by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs.

The investments are meant for around 20 companies in the early stages of development with a developed concept, with EUR 100,000 provided for each, whereas another EUR 200,000 has been provided for each company for accompanying finances.

In the past five years, Eleven has financed 150 investments in regional startups and helped young companies strengthen their capacities in the first years of operations.
