"Delta" announced participation in tender for "Mercator"

Serbian company “Delta holding" announced that it would take part in the international tender for purchase of Slovenian "Mercator".

"Delta Holding" plans to resume its regional expansion in the countries of southeast Europe, and the procurement of "Mercator" would contribute to quicker achievement of that goal.

Once the tender is announced, "Delta" will have official talks with company "Pivovarna Laško", which is a stockholder of "Mercator", and it will inform the future Government of Slovenia on its intentions.

By purchasing a share in "Mercator", "Delta" would create the company that would take significant place among the leading retail chains in Europe. "Delta Holding" is interested in purchase of "Mercator" since long time ago.

Pivovarna Laško and Infond Holding said that they would announce the international tender for sale of 48.34% of stocks of market chain Mercator.
