Representatives of several big companies from Ohio to visit Serbia

The
Embassy of USA to Belgrade has announced that the business delegation of the
state of Ohio, which is made of the representatives of several big companies
from the various sectors, will be staying in Serbia between November 1st
and 5th.
The companies whose representatives are staying in Serbia "represent broad assortment of different economic sectors, from information technologies and industrial production to military operations". This is included in the announcement and it is specified that the US Embassy will be the host of the business delegation of Ohio.
The delegation, which consists of the representatives of
companies "American Apex", "Columbia Chemical", "Mission
Essential Personnel and Polycom", is led by the CEO of the office for
international markets within the Development Secretariat of the State of Ohio.
The
aim of the Development Secretariat of the State of Ohio is to provide "assistance
in global expansion of companies through organization of trade missions and
other activities directed to finding of adequate business partners".
This is the first official visit of the state business delegation since 2001. In addition to numerous commercial meetings with local companies, the delegation of Ohio will also visit the 8th economic summit of Serbia.
By the way, cooperation between Serbia and the National Guard of the state of Ohio includes exchange of military experiences since 2006, based on the National Partnership Program. During the numerous visits, the officials of both sides expressed willingness to maintain and improve the established level of cooperation and to expand it to the civilian-military and civilian-civilian aspect.
