"Sojaprotein" supplemented decision about procurement of its own stocks

On October 24, 2008, the Administrative Board of "Sojaprotein" from Bečej supplemented the decision about procurement of the company's stocks, which was made on March 18, 2008, due to new circumstances in the financial market.

The Administrative Board estimated that the price of the company's stocks had dropped for non-economic reasons and the reasons that had nothing to do with the operations of "Sojaprotein", which registered the best business results in its history in 2007.

The Administrative Board's opinion is that instability in the financial market was temporary, so that, in order to protect the interests of the stockholders, ensure realization of the company's development plans and prevent direct and more serious damage, it made the decision about procurement of the company's stocks in the financial market.
