The Chamber of Commerce of Serbia opened its tenth office in the world on Wednesday (October 22, 2008) in Paris in order to improve foreign-trade exchange with France.

Miloš Bugarin, President of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, pointed out that France was the seventh largest investor in Serbia. Foreign-trade exchange between Serbia and France has been increased by 650% since the year 2000. Import is much bigger than export, but, as Bugarin explained, the entire exchange is still small. During the last year, Serbia exported 286m USD worth of goods to France, while the value of import from France amounted to 570m USD.

The Office of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia is on the second floor of the Clock tower at railway station "Lion" in Paris. The Director of the office is Vesna Pakaj. She used to work in the office of company "Jugometal", and she now runs her own consulting company in Paris.
