US company "Ball Corporation" invests 25m EUR in construction of factory in Belgrade - successful negotiations with representatives of Government of Serbia

US company "Ball Corporation" is going to invest 25m EUR in the factory in Belgrade and hire 100 workers. This was announced by the Government's office for cooperation with media on October 22, after the meeting between Prime Minister Mirko Cvetković and Minister Mlađen Dinkić and the representatives of that company.

Prime Minister Cvetković and Minister of Economy and Regional Development Dinkić greeted the decision about the new investment of this company in Serbia and they estimated that it would contribute to growth of export from Serbia since that investment was mainly export-oriented.

Company "Ball Corporation" has branch office "Ball Packaging Europe", which also operates in Serbia. This company is the second largest manufacturer of tin cans in Europe. It owns 11 factories in Germany, England, France, Poland and Netherlands and it has total of 2,500 workers.
