The production is carried out in both shifts in line with the plan of 400 vehicles a day.
The president of the Autonomous Trade Union at the factory, Zoran Markovic, confirmed to RTS that a three-year collective agreement had been signed with the management prior to the winter annual leave.
Markovic is convinced that Fiat would stay in Kragujevac and extend the ten-year agreement on the joint company with the Republic of Serbia, which expires in September 2018, and he expects the Italian company to start producing a new model in the Kragujevac plant with the help of the Government of Serbia.
Markovic also told RTS that the employees would be paid their January wages in February with the second part of the raise of 6.39%, agreed during the negotiations with the Fiat management and Prime Minister Ana Brnabic following the strike.
With this raise, the lowest gross base for the first salary band will amount to RSD 42,250.
