The Ukrainians want to buy factory "Goša-FOM" - €11.5m

Ukrainian "Slavtjažmaš" offered about €11.5m for procurement of factory "Goša-FOM" from Smederevska Palanka and for social and investment program. According to the words of Miloš Filimonović, director of "Storteks", the agent of corporation "Industrial Association of Donbas", part of which is "Slavtjažmaš", the Ukrainians would employ 300-500 workers in the first year.

"Goša-FOM" has about 1,000 employees and, if it wins on the tender, "Slavtjažmaš" will introduce the third shift again and employ new workers. In the makeup of Concern "ISD" from Donjeck there are five big steel mills in Ukraine, Hungary and Poland, which produce 10 million tons of steel every year. They need products for coke processing to use it in their production processes. Such products can be provided by "Goša". In that way, Serbian factory will have certain export program.

Filimonović cites that, by means of reorganization, the Ukrainians intend to increase capacities of "Goša" by 30-50%. In that way, the value of the annual production, which ranged between 25 and 30 million EUR during the last few years, would be increased by 7-10 million EUR. At the same time, production would go cheaper because the material required for work will be obtained from the parts of Ukrainian corporation at favorable prices and without any agents.
