Tourist route - "The Valjevo Prank"

1. day Departure from Novi Sad at 8 a.m. and drive over Fruska Gora Mountain to Kaona Monastery. Visit to the magnificent building from 16th century and stroll through pleasant surrounding. Trip to Brankovina – «village full of history and poetry « and visit to the place of prominent family Nenadovic and monument of great Serbian poetess Desanka Maksimovic in the churchyard of the village... Lunch in «Tadic Mill», restaurant on the river Gradac shore in old water mill still grinding corn for home made bread and other special corn dishes. Shopping possibilities. Drive to Banja Koviljača Spa and walk through splendid park and visit to Kur Salon. Monastery Soko Grad and visit to the castle, golden cross, Bishop s Velimirovic monument and excellent view to surrounding. Drive to Gucevo and accommodation in hotel settled in middle of natural beauties. Dinner, overnight.

2. day After breakfast departure to Trsic, birth place of Vuk Karadzic and visit. Drive to Tronosa Monastery and visit to Mackov kamen peak with fantastic view on Drina river. Dobrootačka Church, Zavlaka, Banja Badanja Spa. Lunch in typical ambient and drive over Cer mountain to the monument on Tekeriš Hill. Short rest and return to Novi Sad via Sabac. Arrival at evening and end of programme.
