Serbian consortium for repair of railroad cars founded, repair of 1,000 wagons, 11 million EUR

Railroad Transportation Company ŽTP Beograd has announced that the repair of 1,000 cargo railroad cars would commence in February 2005. The aforementioned number of cars amounts to one half of total number of cars necessary for the needs of Serbian economy. Repair companies from all over Serbia joined into consortiums will be hired for realization of that €11m worth of job. Several thousand workers from companies such as Goša - Smederevska Palanka, Vagonka-Niš, Bratstvo-Subotica and other companies will work in 3 shifts in order to finish the work.
