- The market of Serbia is going to get another two market chains - Austrian "Spar" and Turkish "Ramstor" by the end of the year - Minister of Trade, Slobodan Milosavljević, announced.

- "Spar" has already finished the procedure for purchase of location in Subotica, while the procurement of location in Novi Sad is in its final phase - said he in the Parliament of Serbia on the occasion of the presentation of the Trade Development Strategy prior to year 2012.

As far as "Ramstor" is concerned, it has difficulties to find adequate location in Niš, but it is expected that that problem will be resolved soon.

The Minister pointed out that the initiative for arrival of British market chain "Tesco" had also been launched and that the administrative organs of that company would estimate whether Serbia was attractive for investments.

Pointing out that German "Metro" is going to have four facilities built in Serbia (two of which on the territory of Belgrade), the Minister expressed expectation that the competition in the market of Serbia would be improved in that way.
