Open competition for Chief Executive Officer of company "Zastava Arms"

- Based on the decision of the Administrative Board, Kragujevac-based factory "Zastava Arms" has announced the open competition for the Chief Executive Officer, and the candidates can submit their applications prior to October 29“, said Velibor Spasojević, the Staff Manager in that factory.

- The open competition is announced because the mandate of Acting Director Rade Gromović expires soon - said Spasojević and pointed out that Gromović had been appointed the Acting Director in two mandates.

Spasojević said that the selection and appointment of the CEO of "Zastava Arms“, who is supposed to stay on that position for the next four years, should be carried out prior to November 24.

Factory "Zastava Arms" has Acting Director since May 2007 because Gromović replaced Zoran Aleksić on that position, while Aleksić substituted former CEO Zoran Grujović.
Total of four applications were submitted on the open competition for selection of CEO, which was announced in October 2007, three of which were from Kragujevac and one from spa resort Niška Banja.

On that occasion, the Administrative Board of the factory decided not to hire any of the candidates and to offer the position of Acting Director to Gromović who was on the position of Marketing Manager at that time.
