Delphi starts building plant in Leskovac – Jobs for 2,500

The construction of a Delphi plant in the location of the Green Zone on the periphery of Leskovac has started.

The company produces components for the automotive industry, and 2,000 to 2,500 citizens of Leskovac should be employed at the factory.

This is a big investment in the city on the Veternica, which was first announced by Mayor Goran Cvetanovic and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic. Cvetanovic recently signed the contract without disclosing the name of the investor.

This global supplier within the automotive industry operates in 45 countries of the world. In addition to Leskovac, it also has a factory in Novi Sad.
