Key that slows teenagers down

Automobile manufacturer "Ford" has announced the new technology that will make it possible for the parents to "slow down" their teenagers.

MyKey technology will free the parents from their greatest fears - that their children will be hurt in the accidents caused by overspeed driving.

It is the special key for automobiles that limits a vehicle's top speed to 130 km/h and the stereo's volume up to 44% of its maximum.

The parents are also able to set the key to these or normal values, depending on whether their children are responsible while driving.

Even teenagers accepted the idea that the parents control their driving rights. At first, 67% of them were against it, but when they were informed that the use of that technology could increase their chances to drive the vehicle by themselves, that number was reduced to only 36%.

When it comes to company "Ford", implementation of the new technology is not going to represent a problem because it is developed by the experts of "Ford".

"MyKey" technology is accompanied by "SecuriLock" adaptation that recognizes the key that is used and sets the operations in a vehicle.

"MyKey" technology will be presented in 2010 and it will applied to all present and future models of automobiles produced in "Ford".
