"Perutnina Ptuj" to invest 40m EUR in "Topico" prior to year 2011 - first investment in development of distributive center in Belgrade

- "Perutnina Ptuj", the largest Slovenian poultry manufacturer, will invest 40m EUR in poultry factory "Topico" in Bačka Topola prior to year 2011 - said Roman Glazer, Director General of "Perutnina Ptuj", and pointed out that that company did not have any plans for investments in "Agroživ".

He announced that modern distributive center would be developed in the vicinity of Belgrade by the end of the year. As Glazer explained, that will be only the first of several investments in Serbia.

According to Glazer's words, "Topico" will produce 22,000 tons of meat in 2009. As he explained, the possibility that "Perutnina Ptuj" starts to export meat to the market of Russia through "Topico" in the following period is, for the time being, a much too ambitious plan.

"Perutnina Ptuj" expects incomes at 250m EUR this year and 300m EUR in 2009.
