Chinese interested in opening cardboard packaging plant in Serbia

The president of the National Council for Coordination of Cooperation with Russia and China, Tomislav Nikolic, talked to Ambassador of China to Serbia Li Manchang about RTB Bor and the upcoming arrival of Chinese companies interested in acquiring the combine and making new investments.

The ambassador informed Nikolic that certain Chinese businessmen intended to found a cardboard packaging plant in Serbia and that negotiations to that end were in progress.

Nikolic also talked to Manchang about the construction of a refinery and gas power plants in Serbia and asked for the Chinese side to consider the possibility of cooperating with Tigar Pirot.

In line with the established practice, Ambassador Li notified Nikolic of the priority projects forming the core of the economic cooperation between the People's Republic of China and the Republic of Serbia, adds the press release by the National Council.
