Institute of "Zastava's" automobile factory represented prototype of electric vehicle

The Institute of "Zastava`s" automobile factory presented yesterday (October 7, 2008) the prototype of electric vehicle whose maximum speed is 40 km/h.

According to the words of Milan Popović, the CEO of the Institute, this vehicle is equipped with a direct-current engine of 4 kV, which is, actually, a classical battery.

The owner of this eco-vehicle will be company "Globusauto" from Pančevo, which intends to produce such vehicles in the future. This vehicle does not produce any noise.
