Infrastructure of Serbian Railways joins International Union of Railways

The company Infrastructure of the Serbian Railways announced today that it had become an active member of the International Union of Railways (UIC). Membership in this organization enables the company access to technical documentation and standards, which will help it make its operations more efficient and up-to-date. Infrastructure will also be able to take part in forums, platforms and work groups and to have access to the decisions made at the said events that are related to infrastructure, operators, technology, research, safety, sustainable development and legal and financial questions.

The General Assembly of UIC reached the decision at the session held on December 7 in Paris.

The International Union of Railways is an international railway organization founded in 1922. it brings together 199 members, among which are railway administrations, organizations and companies from across the globe.
