Founding of Serbian-Cuban company for production and sale of spices in the pipeline

Ministry of Trade and Services of Serbia announced on October 2nd that the founding of Serbian-Cuban joint venture for production and sale of spices in Cuba was in the pipeline.

According to the announcement, the Memorandum of understanding was signed between the Ministry of Trade of Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Trade of Cuba on the occasion of Cuban delegation's visit to Belgrade.

The Memorandum includes the following: trade in industrial, agricultural, food and pharmaceutical products, tourist and building services, services in field of health and health care, banking services, as well as continuation of negotiations about repayment of Cuban debt to Serbia.

Minister Raul de la Nues said that Cuba needed projects for development of apartments that could resist hurricane strikes and he said that he would like Serbian architects to take part in those projects.

Participants in the meeting agreed that Cuban debt to Serbia was the issue that should be discussed for the sake of positive outcome and that it was important that that issue did not disturb economic-trade relations between the two countries.
