The Assembly of stockholders of company "Politika novine i magazini" dismissed Ljiljana Smajlović from the position of the editor-in-chief of newspaper "Politika" on October 1st, while the CEO of that company, Srđan Janićijević, resigned.

According to the recommendations of the Administrative Board of Politika AD, the oldest journalist in the editorial staff, Radmilo Kljajić, will be appointed as the acting editor-in-chief of "Politika" until the open competition is announced.

The decisions of the Assembly of stockholders will be announced during the day.
