International prefix "00" in exclusive use starting October 1st

Company "Telekom Srbija" has announced that prefix "00" will be the only prefix in use for international calls starting from Wednesday, October 1st.

That change will be in effect in both landline and mobile telephony.

The mobile telephony users who make international calls will still be able to use symbol "+" as the international prefix.

In the period between April 1st and September 30th, "Telekom Srbija" enabled parallel use of prefixes "00" and "99" in order for all users to get used to the new prefix for international phone calls from Serbia.
