National Coordination Body for foreign trade facilitation set up

the Public-Private Dialogue Conference for facilitation of foreign trade organized by the American
Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) and USAID REG project in Serbia, the need for
identification and resolution of obstacles on the way to more efficient
import-export procedures that lead to more intensive economic growth was outlined
. Positive
step forward and importance of establishment of the National Coordinating Body
for Trade Facilitation was highlighted, the organizers announced.

I thank the American Chamber of Commerce in Serbia for the support provided in
the set up of the National Coordinating Body for Facilitation of Foreign Trade,
which brings together 12 relevant institutions, which now represents the right
address for all the problems faced by economic entities - said the Deputy Prime
Minister and Minister of Trade ,
tourism and telecommunications, Rasim Ljajić.
The AmCham Foreign Trade Facilitation Committee, comprising more than 50 companies from various industries for two years now, is assisting the Government of the Republic of Serbia in rationalizing procedures and managing flow of goods across national borders.
