Belgrade Beer Festival to start, beer river waiting

Five days of heaven for beer drinkers starts tomorrow evening in the lower town of the Kalemegdan Fortress. That is the third Belgrade Beer Festival and, just like in the previous years, the entrance will be for free. There will be more participants – beer manufacturers than the last year and the music program will be richer.

During the five days, the stage will host musicians and DJs, while the Tourism Organization Beograd will organize “Quest for the Lost Treasure“ on the ramparts of Kalemegdan.

One of the biggest attractions will be contest in quick drinking up of beer. The grand finale will take place on the last day of the festival. Certificate «Lion Swallow» will be equally awarded to both sexes. The representatives of the brewers and media will take part in the special competition.

As far as music program is concerned, Inspektor Blaža, Van Gog and Luis will appear on the stage on Wednesday, Tanja Jovićević, Darko Rundek and Delča on Thursday, Sunshine and team of DJs led by Marko Nastić on Friday. Del Arno Bend will appear on Saturday, as well as Orthodox Celts and So Sabi. The Sundary program is reserved for "Main stream" discotheque and DJs Mouse and Lapac. (www.belgradebeerfest.com)
