German donation - Serbia to get 18m EUR for water supply system

Verica Kalanović, the Minister in charge of the National Investment Plan, said that German Credit Development Bank would finance improvement of water supply system in Serbia with 18m EUR worth of donation and 25m EUR worth of loan.

Following the talks with the representatives of the Credit Development Bank (KfW) in Frankfurt, Kalanović said to Beta that that money would be used for financing of the project for resolving of the problems of water supply and wastewater treatment in total of 14 municipalities and four cities in Serbia.

The Minister also said that eight municipalities had taken part in the first phase of the project, which was financed by KfW bank with the donation of 10m EUR. These municipalities are: Kraljevo, Loznica, Pančevo, Šabac, Smederevo, Sombor, Sremska Mitrovica and Vršac.
