"Morgan Stanley" to become privatization adviser for "Telekom Srbije"

- Investment bank "Morgan Stanley" has been selected for the privatization adviser of "Telekom Srbija" - Privatization Agency announced.

According to the announcement, that bidder has submitted the most favorable bid. "Morgan Stanley" asked for 1.35% of the total value of transaction to prepare the initial public offer for stocks of "Telekom" on the stock exchange, while the second-ranked bidder, consortium of "J.P.Morgan" and Erste Bank, asked for commission of 1.19%.

Both bidders accepted the condition from the tender documentation that their fixed fee for preparation of the IPO for stocks of "Telekom" on the Stock Exchange should amount to 250,000 EUR.

Ranking of the bids depended on both financial and technical bid, which included bidder's previous experience in realization of IPO.

Selected privatization adviser should suggest the strategy for partial privatization of "Telekom" by the end of the year.
