Sojaprotein reports nine-month loss of RSD 98.9 million

Sojaprotein, a local manufacturer of soy-based products, reported non-consolidated net loss of RSD 98.9 million in the first nine months of the current year, a further drop from the already poor net profit of RSD 13.8 million realized in the first nine months of 2016.

The result is down to a jump in financial expenditures and a drop in operating revenues, which amounted to RSD 13 billion in the said period, 16.9% less y/y, most likely due to the changes in the production structure, Wisebroker reports.

Operating profit dropped by 70% to RSD 188 million, Wisebroker reports.
