Megal Bujanovac expects EUR 1.5 million in exports in 2017 – Company planning production of 3,000 pellet-fueled furnaces

Megal expects revenues of EUR 1.5 million from the sale of around 1,500 pellet-fueled furnaces, a new product in their program.

– This amounts to more than 50% of the total revenues of our company in this year – Dragoljub Kostic, director of Megal, confirms.

He specified that the preparations for the serial production of the new Bio Megal furnace had taken more than two years. It is produced in two varieties, and the electronic segments of this heating device are produced in Italy.

– Compared to last year, the physical amount of production has increased by close to 30%, and we expect a similar growth in the next year as well. The total revenues in 2017 should amount to around RSD 30 million, as we expect to produce and sell around 3,000 furnaces – Kostic said.

He announced that a fiber laser for precision cutting of sheet metal, in which the company invested around EUR 350,000 of its own funds, would be introduced into the production process in 2018, in line with the standards of the EU countries, to which Megal exports its products.

Megal points out that they have been supported by the Serbian Export Credit and Insurance Agency and that, in the year in which the company celebrates its fortieth anniversary, 150 workers are regularly paid salaries of RSD 35,000 on average.
