- "Vino Župa" will soon buy Mostar-based "Hepok" and become a strong multinational company in Europe - Radimir Šljivić, President of "Vino Župa", announced.
By the way, Aleksandrovac-based company bought wine cellar "Povardarje" – Negotino on the Skopje Stock Exchange on September 4th, 2008.
Announcing that "Vino Župa" is going to become the largest exporter in the region of Rasina, Šljivić also announced realization of very ambitious investment program worth 10m in 2008.
These investments are only the extension of the investments introduced in 2002 when bankrupted "Vino Župa" was bought by the consortium of physical persons from Župa, led by Radomir Šljivić. What followed were the revival and progress.
Part of that investment program is the Factory for production of aseptic fruit pulps, which was opened on the occasion of this year's "Župska berba". That factory has the capacity to process 5,000 kg of fruir per hour, and the investment amounts to 2m EUR. Construction of the boiler unit for burning biomass, which will resolve the environmental problem of waste, is in the final phase.
