"Zorka opeka" started production of building thermobricks, which substitutes 12 classic bricks

Factory "Zorka opeka", part of Austrian system "Alas holding", has announced that it started production of building thermobricks, which can substitute 12 classic bricks.

- That is the new product in Serbian market and it has excellent thermoinsulation characteristics that enable big energy saving. The factory in Koceljeva will be producing 6m bricks a year - said the Executive Manager of "Alas holding", Ivan Mitrović.

According to his words, 3.5m EUR was invested in modernization of that factory in village of Donje Crniljevo in municipality of Koceljeva.

Before the privatization, the factory had 120 workers and it was producing 30m pcs of bricks per year. Nowadays, the capacity of the factory with 48 workers amounts to 50m classic facade bricks and 6m thermoblocks a year.
