Initiative for founding Qatari-Serbian Chamber of Commerce launched

Last week, the Embassy of Qatar in Belgrade organized a meeting with representatives of the Center for Regional Development, prominent businessmen, bankers, scientific and cultural workers, who were hosted by Ambassador Mubarak Bin Fahad Al-Thani.

The host discussed the possibilities of economic cooperation between the two countries and emphasized that there was great interest among investors and business people from Qatar in the Serbian market.

The greatest potential lies in the fields of tourism, agriculture, agri-economy, healthcare and pharmacy, and Serbia might also profit from packaging and bottling water.

An initiative for founding the Qatari-Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the Qatari-Serbian Friendship Society, which would work on bringing the economies and the cultures of the two peoples closer together with friends from Doha, was launched at the meeting.
