"Telekom Srbija" to unite services of landline and mobile telephony and Internet - first results at end of year 2008

the Executive Manager of "Telekom Srbija", Branko Radujko, has announced that the company will unite the services of landline and mobile telephony and Internet, and the first results will be visible at the end of this year.

"Telekom" will offer the packages that include telephony, Internet and entertaining contents, such as television. Strategic development plan of "Telekom" anticipates development of broadband access, which should make it possible for much larger number of subscribers to use Internet.

Radujko pointed out that the profit had grown by 21% in the first seven months of the year and that the net profit was about 2% smaller than in the year 2007.

- The reasons for smaller net profit concern the repayment of loans for purchase of "Telekom Srpske" and very unstable exchange rate of the national currency - Radujko explained.
