Turkey’s Soylemez to open car component plant in Zitoradja in 2018 – Jobs for 160 people

According to him, the company, which produces car components, should have put the Zitoradja facility into operation in November, but “all things considered, this will probably not happen”.
– The final preparations are in progress, and the factory should start operating in early 2018 – Stevanovic told eKapija.
Let us remind that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced on October 17, 2016, that “the agreement on subsidizing the Turkish company will be signed in seven days”. As announced at the time, the production in Zitoradja should have started within three months, with 150 workers employed initially and up to 500 in the final stage.
Hovewer, the agreement was only signed on March 15, 2017. According to it, the Ministry of Economy has approved EUR 1,120,000 in incentives for the Turkish company, to be drawn dawn in three installments in 2017, 2018 and 2019. According to the agreement, Soylemez obliges to hire at least 160 permanent employees in this three-year period, namely, 5 in the first year, 115 in the second one and at least 40 in the third one.
Soylemez Rubber & Plastic Zitoradja was founded in August 2016 and is owned by the Turkish company Soylemez Kaucuk Otomotiv San. Tic. Ltd. Sti. (51%) and Kerem Soylemez (49%).
The company has bought the halls of the former electronic industry near Zitoradja and will produce car components.
