Nepalese CG Corp Global starts exporting Wai Wai instant noodles from Ruma

The Nepalese company CG Corp Global, which opened its first Wai Wai instant noodles plant in Europe in Ruma a month ago, has started exporting to the European market.


The first packs of Serbian-produced Wai Wai instant noodles have been distributed to Great Britain, Portugal, Denmark and Italy, and, as the company announced, deliveries to Germany, Cyprus, Holland, Belgium and Norway are to continue in the next weeks.

– Wai Wai Ruma is the foundation of the company’s future operations throughout Europe. We will be supplying the entirety of Europe with our product, renowned across Asia and America, from Ruma, and, this project will make it famous in Europe as well – the company’s management points out.

Wai Wai is a part of the global conglomerate of the Cinnovation Group, which consists of 122 companies and 76 brands and operates in several fields – infrastructure, hotel business, banking, phone operator services, food industry, hydro power plants, education, cigarettes and drinks.

The owner of the Cinnovation Group is the first Nepalese billionaire, Binod Chaudhary, also on the Forbes list.

The Ruma plant employs 100 workers for now, and more than 400 will have been employed by the end of 2018. Over two billion Wai Wai noodle packages are sold globally a year.
