"Asus" opened regional center in Belgrade

Company "Asus Technology" has presented the regional office that it opened in Serbia at the beginning of July.

"Asus’" regional center in Belgrade will be covering the territory of seven countries - Slovenia, Croatia, BiH, Montenegro, Serbia, Macedonia and Albania.

"Asus Technology" is the company that develops information technologies and it is among the world’s top five manufacturers of "notebook" computers and LCD monitors.

Last year the company delivered 55m motherboards to the users, which means that every third PC computer assembled in 2007 was equipped with the motherboard manufactured in company "Asus".

The company’s turnover amounted to 6.4 billion USD in 2006 and 7 billion USD in 2007. "Asus" has 8,000 workers and it is estimated that it is currently worth over 20 billion USD.
