Austrian "Reed Exhibitions" wants Belgrade's Fair - representatives of company spent last week in Belgrade

- Austrian company "Reed Exhibitions" will stay in the race for takeover of the Belgrade Fair in spite of all the obstacles - Viennese economic daily newspaper "Virtšaftsblat" announced.

- Hot autumn is ahead of "Reed Exhibitions" and the reason for that is the takeover of the Fair in Belgrade - the newspaper estimated and added that the Austrian company had waited for privatization for seven months.

- We were once close to the agreement on privatization and then the Government of Serbia fell. Nothing is the same after the new elections and that additionally complicates the situation - said the CEO of "Reed Exhibitions", Matias Limbek.

Limbek now expects announcement of the tender for privatization of the Belgrade Fair and he spent last few weeks in Belgrade on negotiations.

"Reed Exhibitions" offers to modernize and run the exhibit space at 23 ha with the assistance from the investors.
