- Ministry of
Agriculture will press charges against the largest breweries in the country if
they fail to acquire waterpower engineering licenses in the next few days - authorized Minister Saša Dragin announced.
The charges will be pressed against the Jagodina brewer, Nikšićka brewer, Carlsberg brewer from Čelarevo, Apatin brewer, Efes, BIP and Novi Sad-based brewer Rodić MB.
Pointing out that the state annually loses millions of euros because successful companies do
not pay the waterpower engineering fees, Dragin said that such behaviour would not be tollerated any longer.
- These breweries do not even have the waterpower
engineering license. Although 90% of their products is water and the fee per liter amounts to only 0.20 RSD, they refused to pay that fee - Dragin pointed out.
