"Telenor" - the first in sustainability in mobile telecommunications based on "Dow Jones Sustainability Index"

- For the second year in a row, company "Telenor" won the first place in sustainability in the sector of mobile telecommunications on the basis of "Dow Jones Sustainabily Index" - DJSI - the company announced today (September 14, 2008).

Among 17 companies that deal with mobile telecommunications, "Telenor" took the first place in regard to combined efficiency on the basis of series of economic, social and ecological criteria.

"Telenor" is the world's seventh largest mobile operator with about 153m users, over 3m of whom live in Serbia.

Following the investment in amount of 1.513 billion EUR, which was declared the largest investment in southeast Europe, "Telenor" is officially present in Serbia since September 1st, 2006.
