Cultural Center Magacin becomes member of Trans Europe Halles

Cultural Center Magacin, located in the Kraljevica Marka Street in Belgrade, joined the biggest European network of cultural centers located in former industrial facilities, Trans Europe Halles, Politika writes.

This oasis of independent cultural scene is their 67th member.

Magacin got the opportunity to join the company of independent cultural institutions, the sole Serbian member of which was previously Cultural Center Rex, at the network's annual conference, held in Kiev.

Since 2007, this facility has been intended for independent cultural organizations, but its status has not been regulated by law for a decade, Politika reports.
