"Jat Airways" transported record 201,073 passengers on 2,502 flights

"Jat Airways" transported record 201,073 passengers, 191 tons of goods and 41 tons of mail on 2,502 flights in August 2008.

When compared to the same month last year, number of passengers grew by 8%, while the average percentage of the occupied seats on the planes amounted to 75%.

The most significant growth was registered in charter traffic where number of flights grew by 14 and number of passengers by 21% against the last year's level.

The plan for flights to Montenegro is exceeded by 36%, while charter traffic exceeded the plan by 29%.

Due to high demand of travel agencies, 117 new charter flights were introduced.
