Luxury eco-resort to be raised on Lake Skadar – Around EUR 160 million to be invested in The Oberoi Luxury Resort and Spa

Montenegro should get a luxury tourist eco-resort, to be located at the Lake Skadar National Park, in four years, AntenaM reports.

The Oberoi Luxury Rsort and Spa Skadar Lake Montenegro will have a hotel with 21 apartments of 80 to 300 square meters, as well as 30 mansions for rent, it was said at the project presentation.

The tourist complex is worth EUR 160 million and will be built by Montenegro Resort and the Italian construction company Pizzarotti, which is also the owner, whereas the hotel will be run by India's Oberoi Group.

The construction is expected to start in the first half of 2018, and the expected completion date is late 2022.

Once built, The Luxury Resort and Spa will provide jobs for 200 local people, and the number will rise to 300 during the main season.

In addition to the new name of the resort, which was known as Porto Skadar Lake until now, the new project investor has also been presented, the Pizzarotti Group.

The Italian company, which has over 100 years of tradition and experience, operates in 17 countries. In Montenegro, in addition to the said resort, it is also building Porto Novi in Kumbor.
