The national tourism organizations of Serbia, Montenegro and Albania, in cooperation with Turkish Airlines and with support by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), are organizing a trip for the most important tour-operators from Japan.

As reported by the Tourism Organization of Serbia (TOS), during their stay in the three countries, the guests from Japan will have an opportunity to visit several cities.

The plan is for the Japanese tourists to visit Belgrade, Topola, Mokra Gora and Zlatibor in Serbia, Kolasin, Podgorica, Kotor and Budva in Montenegro and Berat and Tirana in Albania.

The TOS reminds that the habits of Japanese tourists entail visiting several geographically close destinations within a single trip and that they therefore aim to show to the important organizers of the trip – JTB Media Retailing, H.I.S. CO., LTD., JTB World Vacations, MIKI TOURIST, ASAHI RYOKO, TUMLARE, ST WORLD, TABI-CONCIER, Hankyu Travel – destinations ready to cooperate with them and to present the example of an itinerary which might be included in their programs.

It is stated that the TOS, with support by the JICA, has been taking part together with Montenegro and Albania in the JATA Tourism EXPO in Tokyo, visited by around 200,000, for two years now. This year, it is added, Macedonia and B&H joined the presentation.

A workshop where over ten Serbian agencies were given an opportunity to exchange opinions and contacts with their Japanese colleagues was also organized, the press release adds.
