Swedish company "LK Armatur" has put the factory of plumbing equipment in Zrenjanin in operation today. The company from Sweden invested 300,000 EUR in this production unit.

The CEO of "LK armatur", Magnus Erikson, said that another 300,000 EUR would be invested in procurement of new equipment for that unit in 2009. The factory is situated in Zrenjanin’s duty-free zone within the complex of Slovenian "Kolpa".

All goods produced in Zrenjanin will be exported to Europe and Scandinavia.

The factory is built at 500 square meters and it will employ seven workers this year and additional 15 will be hired in 2009. In addition to qualified manpower, the reason why "LK Armatur" came to Zrenjanin, as Magnus Erikson explained, is a good traffic link between Vojvodina and Europe.

Swedish company "LK Armatur" is the leading Scandinavian manufacturer of regulatory equipment for thermal technology and its annual turnover amounts to 20m EUR. The company has 66 workers in Sweden .
