Corporation "Krušik" signed 38.9m USD
worth of contracts on production of arms and military equipment in 2008.
The
Executive Manager of Valjevo-based "Krušik", Jovan Davidović, says
that the most significant and the most valuable contract was signed with
public company "Yugoimport - SDPR" and that it concerns the delivery of arms worth 31.5m
USD to the market of Iraq.
- This contract is of crucial importance not
only for 'Krušik', but also for Serbia - said Davidović and added that, in
addition to that contract with SDPR, other commission contracts had been signed
on delivery of goods worth 1.84m USD to the market of the USA and goods worth
1.07m USD and 3.4m EUR to the market of the Philipines.
Davidović added that
the contracts had also been signed on export of goods worth 1.44m USD to the
market of Malaysia and goods worth 1.21m USD to the market of Spain, as well as
goods worth 941,545 USD to the market of Cyprus.
