"Raiffeisen Leasing" obtained 10m EUR worth of loan from EBRD for financing expansion and growth of SME in all regions in Serbia

European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has approved the loan in amount of 10m EUR to "Raiffeisen Leasing" in Serbia, which was founded by Belgrade-based "Raiffeisen banka" and Austrian bank "Raiffeisen Leasing International GmbH", for financing of expansion and growth of small and mid-sized enterprises in all regions of Serbia.

The funds from the loan will be used as aid for Serbian companies in procurement of equipment, including industrial equipment and light commercial vehicles, for the sake of improvement of their operations.

This loan represents an addition to the initial credit line of 10m EUR, which was approved to "Raiffeisen Leasing" in June 2006 by the Institution of EBRD for financing SME in western Balkans. This institution was formed to provide support to the enterprises in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia.
