Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated today that he expected a lot from the visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's visit to Serbia and announced that Turkish investors would come to Kraljevo.

As he said, they will open two new factories in Kraljevo, where several thousand people will be employed.

– This will solve issues in Kraljevo. The agreements are close to being signed. I am already at liberty to say so, as I talked to one of the Turkish investors last night and we will sign a memorandum as soon as Erdogan arrives – Vucic said to the press in Ruma.

He underlined that “better days are coming for people in Kraljevo, but also in Loznica”.

Vucic reminded that an agreement on duty-free export of beef and sunflower oil from Serbia to Turkey would also be signed during Erdogan's visit.

As he added, because the customs duties on the export of sunflower oil amounted to 50-120%, “we used to give it to B&H, which delivered it to Turkey, as they had the right of duty-free export”.

– B&H thereby became a great exporter of sunflower oil, without even having sunflowers. This will change now, as we will export to Turkey directly and be able to make money – said the president of Serbia.
