Incomes of "Vip Mobile" in first half of year 2008 amount to 24.8m EUR - 81% more than in 2007

Company "Vip Mobile", a member of Austrian "Mobilkom", registered incomes worth 24.8m EUR in the first half of the year, which is 81% more than in the second half of year 2007.

According to the information on web site http://www.telekomaustria.com/, the operative loss of the third mobile telephony operator in Serbia amounted to 45.3m EUR at the end of June, which is 27.3m EUR less than at the end of year 2007.

In the first half of the year "Vip Mobile" got 157,700 new subscribers and increased the number of clients to 666,600. The market share in Serbia has been increased from 5.8 to 7.2%.

Total incomes of "Vip Mobile" in April, May and June reached the amount of 12.7m EUR, while its operative loss amounted to 21.7m EUR.

Company "Vip Mobile" has invested about 160m EUR in development of mobile telephony network and construction of base stations in Serbia since the beginning of its operations in June 2007.
