Construction of new border crossing with BiH commenced - 5 lanes on Sremska Rača

New border crossing Sremska Rača with 5 traffic lanes, of which construction commenced recently, should be finished in 6 months. Once completed, it will be a solution to the bottleneck on this border crossing, which is daily crossed by about 8,000 vehicles in both directions.

New border crossing, which will include space for customs, police and freight-forwarders, is being built some 50 meters away from the existing one.

During the next two days, due to the works on Sremska Rača, the freight traffic is directed to border crossing Badovince via Pavlovića bridge. Prior to the end of the works, Sremska Rača will be occasionally closed for freight traffic, but transportation companies will be timely informed.
