Opening of bids for reconstruction of runway of Airport Beograd - €5m

Airport Beograd announced that the bids for contractor for works on rehabilitation of runway would be open that day. The rehabilitaiton of runway will enable landings and takeoffs in all weather conditions.

Reconstruction of runway will start in October and the works will last for about 15 days and there is possibility that the traffic will not be out of operation during the modernization of the runway. The value of the project is €5m and it will be financed from the credit of European Investment Bank. Installation of new light signalization and introduction of standard "three b’s", which would enable landings and takeoffs at the Belgrade airport even in the fog, are in the pipeline.
