UniCredit bank in Serbia increased profit by 41.6% in first six months of year 2008

UniCredit Bank in Serbia increased its profit by 41.6% in the first six months of this year.

Net profit at the end of June 2008 exceeded 1.4 billion RSD, while the balance assets amounted to about 78.8 billion RSD, which is 14.74% more than at the end of the second quarter of year 2007.

Total number of clients of UniCredit Bank at the end of June 2008 was 130,957, that is, 12.73% more than in the same period last year, while the deposits of the clients reached the amount of 52.35 billion RSD, that is, about 8.7 billion RSD more than last year.

In one year, the bank opened nine new offices and, thus, increased number of offices in Serbia to 55, while the number of employees grew to 67.

UniCredit Bank in Serbia is a part of UniCredit Group that is present in 22 countries, has 180,000 employees and serves 40m clients in 10,000 offices all around the world.
