Greek "IMAS S.A" - new owner of "Kolubara-Univerzal"

- The tender commission has approved of signing of the Contract on sale of company for production and regeneration of conveyor belts "Kolubara - Univerzal" from Veliki Crljeni to Greek company "IMAS S.A" - Privatization Agency announced.

Following the signing of the contract, the Agency will inform the public on the accepted price for capital of the company, as well as on the investment and social program offered by the Greek company.

The Privatization Agency has announced the tender for sale of 70% of capital of company for production and regeneration of conveyor belts "Kolubara univerzal" from Veliki Crljeni in December 2007, and the deadline for submission of bids was March 7, 2008.

The condition for participation in the tender was that the bidder deals with production of conveyor belts with textile insert and steel rope for minimum three years and that it produced over 200 km of that material in 2006 and realized business income in amount of minimum 30m EUR in that year.

During the restructuring of Electric Power Company of Serbia, company "Kolubara univerzal" was separated from EPS and it operates independently since 2004. The company has 257 workers.

This company realized business profit in amount of 2m EUR in 2006, while the total assets of that company amounted to about 16m EUR at the end of that year.
